on the Sixteenth day of February last John Husham<lb></lb>

in the first Regiment of Guards was brought<lb></lb>

with a large Wound upon<lb></lb>
the left side of his Head and the Scull bare, and some<lb></lb>
slight Bruises upon his Elbows & Arms which he reced on the fifteenth in the Earning Says that<lb></lb>
proper care was taken of him in the Hospital, and<lb></lb>
the Deced walked about in the Hospital, and for<lb></lb>
Sixteen or seventeen days no bad Symptoms appeared,<lb></lb>
that the Deced then grew worse and died in said<lb></lb>
Hospital on the Eleventh day of this Instant, Says<lb></lb>
that he this Morning opened the Deced's Head, in<lb></lb>
said Hospital, and found a large Quantity of Matter<lb></lb>
upon the Membranes of the Brain, extending over<lb></lb>
the<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
greatest part of the Surface of the left Hemisphere of the Brain<lb></lb>
which Deponent believes to be the came of Deced's<lb></lb>
Death. And this Dept. says that from the Appearance of the wound. he believes it to<del>be</del>
<lb></lb>
have been occasioned by a Blew which the Deced in some<lb></lb>
manner received. And this Depts say that the Deced was sensible<lb></lb>
until within a few days of his Death.</p>
