Melancholy for some time and especially all the
last week and would scarce speak to any Body, Says that
he spoke to Deced this Morning when he was opening
the Shop, but the Deced made him no Answer, that
the Deced then appeared to be very Melancholy, and
Dept. believes that he was Disordered in his Senses.

James Beaumont< no role > Servant to Mr.Wood a Wheelright
is Castle Street on his Oath saith, That between seven
& Eight o'Clock this Morning he went to Messrs. Ringsted
& Poole Coachmakers in Long Acre for piece of Ash to make Boxes
for Wheels, Says that after he had been in their Yard
looking out the Ash about a Quarter of an hour, he saw
the Deced hanging in the Yard, Says that he was
frightened, and called out, and that some of the
Servants went to the Deced and that Charles Walker< no role >
cut the Cord by which he was Hanging, Says that he
heard no Noice in the Yard and believes that the
Deced hanged himself. And this Dept. says that the
Deced has been low spirited for a week or fortnight
last past, and that his Behaviour was different from
what it need to be.

James Beaumont< no role >

Richard Box< no role > Foreman to Mr. Ringsted & Poole on
his Oath saith that he believes the Deced hanged
himself, and says that the Deced has been dull &
Melancholy for a fortnight or three weeks last past
and believes that the Deced was Disordered in his mind.
