That on Wednesday (March 25th last) he was desired<lb></lb>
by Lord Dudley, at the Board, to go to see a Man in<lb></lb>
Leigh's Mews who was said to have cut his Throat,<lb></lb>
Says that he went and found the Deced in a Garret there<lb></lb>
having a large wound on the forepart of his Neck<lb></lb>
and the windpipe hacked in three different places,<lb></lb>
says that the Deced had lost a great Quantity of Blood Says<lb></lb>
that the Deced was very low, and that Depont, sent him<lb></lb>
to the Work house in a Chair, where he dressed the wound<lb></lb>
Says that the Deced the same day complained in his side of a<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
of a Cough & severe Spitting, which<obscured></obscured>
Cough & Spitting he said wa<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
old<lb></lb>
Complaints, Says that<del>within</del>
three days a Blister<lb></lb>
was applied to the Deced's side, that the pain continued,<lb></lb>
and on wednesday Morning last he complained<lb></lb>
of the Flux, that the purging continued until the time<lb></lb>
of his death which happened yesterday Morning<lb></lb>
(April 3d) Says that he Dressed the Wound in<lb></lb>
the Workhouse, and took all proper care of the Deced<lb></lb>
and Dept. believes as that the Deced's death was not<lb></lb>
in Consequence of the wound, but to the other<lb></lb>
Complaints abovementioned. And this Dept. says<lb></lb>
that he saw two Rasors and a Penknife in the<lb></lb>
Window Bloody in Deced's Garret, and that Deced<lb></lb>
told Dept. that he did it as well as he could<lb></lb>
meaning the wound in his Throat as Dept. understood</p>

saith That he followed his Master to the Deced's Grant<lb></lb>
on Wednesday (March 25th.) and saw the Deced there with<lb></lb>
a Wound in his Throat and much blood upon his Shirt<lb></lb>
& in the room, Says that some time after where the Deced<lb></lb>
was able to speak, and was sensible Dept. asked him<lb></lb>
how he came to do that Act, to which Deced answered<lb></lb>
that being an old Man and out of work, he did it<lb></lb>
for want.</p>
