& Dept. lifted up the Deced and that Mr. Clinton cut<lb></lb>
the Cord by which he was Hanging, but he was dead,<lb></lb>
and Dept. verily believes that he Hanged himself<lb></lb>
Says that the Deced for about three weeks last past<lb></lb>
has been very Melancholy and low Spirited and<lb></lb>
behaved in a very different manner from what<lb></lb>
he used to do, Says that the Deced last Sunday<lb></lb>
from Eleven o'Clock in the Morning until Eight in<lb></lb>
the Evening Slept in his Bed, when Dept. with<lb></lb>
some difficulty awoked him, That he afterwards<lb></lb>
continued to Dore and did not speak until next<lb></lb>
Morning, That he afterwards told Dept. that he<lb></lb>
had taken some Opinion and drank some Brandy<lb></lb>
in order to give him rest, not being able to sleep<lb></lb>
at Nights, Says that the Deced and to complain of his Head<lb></lb>
and particularly since that time, Says that the<lb></lb>
Deced appeared to be very uneasy, and Dept.<lb></lb>
believes that he was at times Disordered in his<lb></lb>
Mind.</p>

which he did, and found that the Deced had a Purging of Blood<lb></lb>
and desired to be bled which Dept. did not think proper<lb></lb>
to do, That the Deced called upon him the next<lb></lb>
Morning, and after some Conversation shew'd Dept. his<lb></lb>
left Arm with a Wound in it about three Inches<lb></lb>
in length which Deced said he had given himself<lb></lb>
with an old Razor, Says that he Dressed the Wound<lb></lb>
and did not see the Deced afterwards until Saturday<lb></lb>
when the Wound appeared to be healing, but the<lb></lb>
Deced was much confined and would searce give<lb></lb>
Dept. any Answer, and behaved very different<lb></lb>
from what he used to do.</p>
