An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King, at Tothill Fields Bridewell in the Parish of Saint Margaret
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter, Westminster
in the County of Middlesex , the Thirteenth day of December in the Fourteenth Year
of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE, the Third, by the Grace of God, of Great-Britain,
Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty, on View of the Body of
Edward Gadder< no role > a Prisoner then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of Robert
Branham< no role > , William Davis< no role > , William Gardner< no role > , Thomas Ray< no role > , Robert Struck< no role >
Thomas Pearce< no role > , John Butcher< no role > , William Wright< no role > , Michael Magrath< no role > , Guy Dickinson< no role >
Peter Larner< no role > and Jonas Wareham< no role > good and lawfull Men of the said Liberty, duly
chosen, who being then and there duly Sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Edward Gadder came to
h is Death, do upon their Oath say, That the said Edward Gadder being a
Prisoner in Tothill Fields Bridewell aforesaid, in the Parish
Liberty and County aforesaid, on the Tenth day of December
in the Year aforesaid, at Tothill Fields Bridewell aforesaid,
departed this Life by the Visitation of God in a natural Way,
to Wit, of a Fever, and not otherwise, In Witness
whereof as well the said Coroner, as the said Robert Bramham< no role >
Foreman of the said Jurors, on the behalf of himself and the
-rest of his Fellows, in their presence, have to this Inquisition
set their Hands and Seals, the Day Year and Place First above written.
