Informations taken this 13th day of
Decr. 1773 at the Parish of St. Margaret
within the Liberty of Westmr . (Vizt. at Tothill
Fields Bridewell upon an Inquisition
touching the death of Edward Gadder< no role > Prisoner
lying dead in the said Prison.

Thomas Richards< no role > a Prisoner on Tothill Fields
Bridewell on his Oaths saith That he has been there
about five weeks and then found the Deced
Edward Gadder< no role > a Prisoner there appearing to be
in Good health, and continued so for about a
Month, and then appeared out of order but
Dept. does not know that his Disorder was. That
the Deced used to go about the Yard, Says, that
on Friday last (Decr. 10th.) in the Afternoon Deced
was standing before the Fire in the Taproom
in said Prison when he suddenly fill down
backwards and died immediately without
speaking a Word, Says that he Deced had his
Allowance from the Governor every day and
was not ill used by any Person in the Prison
to Depts. Knowledge, and that the Deced died
a natural Death.
