day of June 1785 at Tothill Fields
Bridewell in the Parish of St. Margt.
within the Liberty of Westmr . in the
County of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of Robert Doe< no role >
a Prisoner lying dead in the said
Prison

Samuel Hanbury< no role > of King Street Westmr . Surgn .
on his Oath saith That Robert Doe< no role > the Deced
a Prisoner , has been ill three or four days last
past, That he continued so, and died
yesterday the fifth Instant. in a natural
way, the Deced being far advanced in
Years.

Richard Cope< no role > a Prisoner in Tothill Fields
Bridewell on his Oath saith That Robert
Doe
< no role > the Deced was brought to said Prison
about five Weeks age appearing to be
in Health, that he continued so, until
last Wednesday Morning, the first Inst.
when he was taken ill, and complained
of a Pain in his Limbs, That on Saturday
he was, much worse, and died yesterday
Morning, Says that Mr. Hanbury the
Apothecary & Surgeon setn Deced some
Medicines, some of which he took Says,
that the Deced had the Allowance of the Prison
and that the Governor sent Deced. Mulled Win
more than once in his illness, Says that
the Deced was not ill used in the Prison
nor confined in any improper Place, Says
that the Deced was far advanced in Years
and died in a natural Way
