An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King, at the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church St. Peter , Westminster
in the County of Middlesex , the Thirtieth day of June in the twenty fifth
Year of the Regin of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of
Great Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Thomas

< no role > , Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty, on
View of the Body of Richard Hartley< no role > then and there lying dead, upon

John Palan< no role > good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly
chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Richard Hartley< no role > came to
h is Death, do upon their Oath say, That on the twenty eighth Day of June in
the year aforesaid, a Man whose Name is unknown was riding upon
a certain Grey Poney in Hyde Park , in the Parish aforesaid, within
the Liberty and County aforesaid And the said Richard Hartley< no role > being then
in Hyde Park and crossing before the said Poney. It so happened that the
said Richard Hartley< no role > was forced down to the Ground, and that the
Grey Poney fell down upon the said Richard Hartley< no role > by means whereof.
the said Richard Hartley< no role > then and there Accidentally Casually, and by
misfortune, received violent Bruises in and upon his Body, of which said
Bruises, he the said Richard Hartley< no role > at the Parish, and in the Liberty
and County aforesaid from the said twenty eighth Day of June, in the year
aforesaid, until the twenty ninth Day of the same, Month, did languish and
languishing did live on which said twenty ninth Day of June in the Year
aforesaid, at the Parish and in the Liberty and County aforesaid, he the said
Richard Hartley< no role > of the Mortal Bruises aforesaid did die. And so the Jurors
aforesaid, upon their Oath aforesaid, do say, that the said Richard Hartley< no role > .
in manner and by the means aforesaid Accidentally. Casually and by
misfortune came to his Death.In Witness whereof as well the
said Coroner as the said Peter Fozard< no role > Foreman of the said Jurors
on the Behalf of himself and the Rest of his Fellows in their Presence
have to this Inquisition set their Hands and Seals the Day
