Informations taken this Thirty first
day of March 1788 at the Parish of St.
Margaret within the Liberty of Westmr .
in the County of Midsex upon an
Inquisition touching the death of
Richard Martin< no role > lying dead in the
said Parish Liberty and County.

Joseph Littlefear< no role > of King Street Westmr Apothecary
in his Oath saith That on Saturday Evening last
a Little before Eight o'Clock the twenty ninth
Instant Richard Martin< no role > the Deced was [..]
Depts. Shop, having fallen off a Dray as [..]
was informed being speech and [..]
any other Signs of life than [..]
that he rubbed the Deced and used the
Means necessary, That he Examined the
Deced with Mr. Poron and found [..]
of the Ribs [..] the right side [..]
That there were other Marks of the [..]
Grazing and Dept. thanks that it passed
over the Body and Bruised it ward [..] Says that
the Deced was not able to speak, and died

William Bowens< no role > of Castle Lane Westmr . Labourer
on his Oath saith That on Saturday last the
twenty ninth Instant he was sent with a Dray
belonging to Matthew Wiggins< no role > Esqr.. drawn by [..]
Horses and loaded with three Butts of Beer to
a Publick House in [..] Scotland yard where
he left them, Says that the Deced & another
Man went with him Says that they returned
that Evening between Seven and Eight o'Clock
having one full Butt of Beer and two Empty
Butts upon the Dray Says that in King Street
Westmr. Dept. was even with the Fore horse and
carefully
