day of May 1788 at Tothill Fields Bridewell
in the Parish of St. Margaret within
the Liberty of Westmr. in the County of
Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of Jane Jones< no role > als Shant< no role > lying
dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County

Elizabeth Hazle< no role > a Prisoner on Tothill
Fields Bridewell on her Oath saith That
the Deced Jane Jones< no role > als Jane Shaw< no role > , has been
Prisoner there about two Months That about
five weeks & more the Deced complaining
of afairs in her Limbs and was sent into
the Sick Ward where Dept. attended her, Says
that about three Weeks ago Deced was [..]
with a Faver and hold an inward [..]
That Mr. Hanbury the Apothecary visited the
Deced and sent her Midicines which
Deced took, That the had her Allowance
from the Governor every day, and also
Money to buy nourishing things that
were proper for her which Dept. got
and give to he Deced but Deced [..]
worse and died on Tuesday Night last
the twenty ninth of April last Says that
the Deced was not ill used by any Person
in the Prison used Dept. believes that the
Deced died in a natural Way.
