to wit.

An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign, taken for our sovereign Lord the
King, at the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of Collegiate Church of st. Peter, Westminster ,
in the County of Middlesex , the Thirteenth day of May in the Twenty ninth
Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of
Great-Britain,France and Ireland King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Thomas
Prickard
< no role > , Gentleman,Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty, on
View of the Body of Hugh Makey then and there lying dead, upon
the Oath of Richard Denew< no role > , James Hill< no role > , Robert Slack< no role > , James

Richard Read< no role > Good and lawful Men of the said Liberty. duly
chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enqire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Hugh Makey< no role > came to
h is Death, do upon their Oath say That on the Eleventh day of May in the
Year aforesaid at Night the said Hugh Makey< no role > was coming Home into the House
of Sir George Comwall Situate in Stantlope Street in the said Parish of Saint George
Hanover Square within the Liberty and county aforesaid and Coming down a Ladder
on the Back part of the said House It so happened that the said Hugh Makey
accidentally Casually and by Misfortune fell down off and from the said Ladder
upon and against the Stone pavement at the bottom thereof by means whereof the
said Hugh Makey did then and there receive one mortal Wound and Contusion on
the right side of his Head of which said Wound and contusion he the said Hugh Makey
at the said of Saint George Hanover Square within the Liberty and county
aforesaid from the said Eleventh day of may in the Year aforesaid until the
Thirteenth day of the same Month did Languish and languishing did live on
which said Thirteenth day f May he the said hugh wound and contusion
aforesaid did die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say
that the said Hugh Makey in manner and by the Means aofersaid Accidentally
Casually and by Misfortune came to this Death and not otherwise

In Witness whereof as well said Coroner
as the said Richard Denew< no role > Foreman of the said Jurors the behalf of himself
and the rest of his Fellows in their Presence have to this Inquisition set their
Hands and Seals the Day Year and Place abovementioned
