5th. day of February 1794 in the Parish of
Saint Jameswithinin the Dwelling house of
Mr. Neeve the Sign of the Dog in Saint
James's Market before Anthony Gell< no role > His
Majesty's Coroner for the sd. City & Liberty
touching the respective Deaths of
Alice Willis< no role > Anne Spencer< no role > and Charlton
John Willis
< no role > then and there lying dead
as follow.

John Wilson< no role > of St. James's Market Butcher
being sworn deposeth and saith that on Monday
Evening last the third Instant this Deponent and his
Wife went with the deceased to the Little Theatre in
the Hay market with and Intent in to go into the Ritt
to see the Performance an [..] on as the outer [..]
was opened the Cr [..] ud seperat [..] them and [..] when
he got [..] that say [..] down [..] in the Passage
leading to the Pit, he saw Mr. Spencer [..] the Left
Side of him about 3 or 4 Steps before him and when
he was gone within about 3 Steps of the bottom [..]
them the Crowd behind him pressed fore [..] ed [..] ry
violently and at that time he heard several Persons
before him cry out very much and i [..] t afterwards he saw some
of the Door keeper he believes drawing a man along
the passage towards the Bar and the People behind
him called out to the Door keeper to dispose the
Neopli
