Informations of Witnesses taken this
third day of April 1798 in the Parish of
St. Mary le Strand at the Dwelling house
of Patrick Stater< no role > the Sign of the Blue
Anchor in Feathers Court Drury Lane
before Anthony Gell< no role > His Majesty's
Coroner for the said City and Liberty
touching the Death of Michael Baldwin< no role >
then & there lying dead as follow
to wit.

Samuel Earnshew< no role > of No. 28 White Hart Yard
Drury Lane being Sworn deposeth that between
two and three o'Clock this Morning (the 3d of
April Instant) he was in Company with the
Deceased in the Front Parlour at the about
Blue Anchor when he appeared to be well in
health and said he would go home (which the
Deponent has since heard was at Hungerford
Market ) and as he went out a the Street door
he told this Deponent he was very ill and
he returned into the the House and went into
the Tap Room and this Deponent went
into the Parlour four whence they had just
before come out andabout twowithin ten Minutes
afterwards Mrs. Slater the Land lady came in
