to wit William Sturch< no role > one of the Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Clement Danes
on behalf of James Mills< no role > who is at present
in the Workhouse belonging to the Parish of
Saint Clement Danes Maketh Oath and Saith
That he this Deponent hath been informed
by Mr. James Scott< no role > the Vestry Clerk of the Parish
of Woolwich That it appears from the Parish
Books of the said Parish of Woolwich That the
said James Mills< no role > Rented a House of Ten
Pounds a year from Lady day 1774 to
Michaelmas 1786 in Surgeons Street in the
Parish of Woolwich in the County of Kent and
that the said James Mills< no role > hath been Relieved
by the Officers of the Parish of Woolwich and
hath been more than Once in their Workhouse
from which he Eloped a few weeks since
