Meeting of the Committee for New Paving
25th. March 1773.
The Committee, upon Examining the Account received from the Parish
of St. Clement Danes
of the Expence of Paving so much of Sheffield and
Portsmouth Streets as lie within this Parish, observe that the same contain
a Charge of Paving with New Stone about 348. yards in the Foot and
Carriageways, And no Credit given in the said Account for the Old Stones
which covered the said Ground.
Ordered, That the same be represented to the Committee for
Paving Etc. the said Parish of St Clement Danes, And that they be request
to direct that Credit may be given to the Committee of this Parish for the
said Old Stones and that they be then acquainted the said Account will
be certifyed so soon as such Credit is given.
