The Parish from any damages & charges that may
happen to them or either of them on account of their
refusing to pay the People who lately conveyed the Engines
to Horshoe Court and Arundel Street on a false Alarm
of Five and none was in fact in either of those Places
It being Unanimously Agreed not to pay them
in such Cases as it is often found they take the
Engines out merely for the sake of being paid for doing
so, when there is no want of their Assistance
Agreed also that the late Overseers do pay Mr.
Richard Prior< no role >
the £200 and Interest due on the
Bond from the Parish to him,-they having
Money in their hands sufficient for that purpose
and they being willing to pay & Mr. Prior
to receive the same in discharge of the said
Bond
