The Condicon of this Obligamus such That Whereas the Churchwardens above
named Phillip Pinckney< no role > Benjamin Harvy< no role > John Dorrill< no role > & Mathew Beaver< no role > Overseers of ye poore
of the parish of St Clement Dane aforesaid with the Assent of two Justices of the Peace
according to the statute in that case made & Pvided have putt Thomas Boppe Clement
apprentice to Christopher Vaughan< no role > and have given with the said Apprentice Five & Forty
Shillings If therefore the above bound xpofer Vaughan< no role > & John Rolph< no role > or either of them or either
of their nor Administ or Assignes or doe well & Sufficiently provide for keepe & maintaine the
said Apprentice in by & with all & all manner of needfull & necessary meate drink washing
lodging apparrell linnen & all other necessaryes meet & convenient for such an Apprentice
dureing the said terme of seaven yeares And also well & Sufficently save defend keepe
harmless & indempnified the said Churchwardens & overseers of the poore of the
said parish and their susessors for the time being and all the Inhabitants of the
said parish what now are & hereafter shall be & every of them of & from the Charge of keeping
and maintaineing the said Apprentice dureing the terme aforesaid And of & from
all accons Suites & taxacons whatsoever which the said Parishionrs of St Clement Danes
aforesaid or any of them shall or may Susteyne incurr or be putt unto for or in respect
of the said Apprentice in any manner of wise then this Obligacon to be void and of
none effect or else to remaine in full force & Vertue
