Examination TextJane Williams aged twenty six years in the Workhouse of & in the Parish of Saint Martin in the fields, on her Oath saith that She never was married nor bound an Apprentice, that She was a yearly hired Servt.to Mr Speake a Victualler who kept an House the corner of hanover St in Long Acre, known by the Sign of the Coach Makers Arms in the aforesaid Parish within the Liberty of Westmr in the County of Middlesex for the Space of one year & upwards at the yearly Wages of four Pounds ten Shillings Diet & Lodging, quitted the same about eight years ago & hath not done any Act to gain subsequent Settlement. // Sworn the 2d. day of August 1786 Before John Collick // [signed Jane Williams] // L A Wd // Pr
