Examination TextJohn Widders aged about 31 years Lately come from Kent Saith he was Married to Ann his Wife at St Martins Church about 11 years agoe Saith he is by Trade a Perukemaker and was an Apprentice to John Page in Hungerford Market in this Parish for Seven Years and Served his Master there abt 5 years and 1/2 and then bought of the remainder of the term, Saith about 11 years agoe he took a Shop in Hedge Lane in this Parish for wch he paid £4 10s Pr Ann and had also at the same time a Cellar in Panton Street for wch he pd: £6 Pr Ann Rent but never paid any Pochial Taxes there or Elsewhere Saith he kept the sd Shop & Cellar abt 4 years left the same abt 7 years agoe and kept house before that nor since nor never Rented £10 Pr Ann Since never was a yrly Servt
