Examination TextElizabeth Hoyll aged about 21 years past from St George Hanover Square Saith she was never Married was an Apprentice to Mrs Smith in Red Lyon yard at the Red Lyon Inn Charing Cross for 9 years & Served her Mistress there 3 yrs & an half & then went to live wth her Mother in Law in the Willow Walk about a Month agoe, Saith she is wth Child And that One Jonathan Vernon an Organ Maker who then l;ived wth the said Mrs Smith's husband in Red Lyon Yard aforesaid had Carnall Knowledge of her Body about the beginning of April last in the kitchen of the house of the sd Mr Smith in a Chair there & Sevall times afterwds in the said kitchen at one of which times he begat her wth Child of a Bastard or Bastards of which she now goeth wth & is pregnant off & that he the sd Jonathan Vernon is the true & only Father thereof & no Man Elses
