Mary Warren aged 34 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the parish St Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Charles Warren (gone from her) to whom she was married at the Parish Church of St. Peter in the city of Hereford the 29th day of May in the year 1758, that her said husband is a Taylor by trade, that she this Examinant hath been informed and verily believes that her said husband was born in the Kingdom of Ireland, that her said husband never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together in England or Wales to this Examinant's knowledge, that she this examinant before her intermarriage with her said husband and while single and unmarried was a yearly hired servant to Mrs Lashley who keeps a Potters Shop in Covent Garden Market, and that the said Mrs Lashley lodged (during the time she this Examinant was a servant) at Mrs Wilkinson's in Dukes Court in Drury Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of three years at the yearly wages of 4 pounds for the first year, 5 pounds for the second year and 6 pounds fpr the third year diet and lodging, quitted the same about two months before her intermarriage with her said husband, that she this Examinant hath two children living by her said husband to wit Charles aged about four years and William aged about 12 months both now with this Examinant. Sworn the first Day of December 1767 before Peter Planck.
