Examination TextPrudence Bromstond aged 27 years lodging at Mr Smith's near Burleigh Street in that part of Exeter Street which is in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Lyon a Brazier in that part of Castle Street near Long Acre which is in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields in the space of one year and an half at the yearly wages of 4 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about three years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 15th Day of April 1762 before Benjamin Cox.
