Michael Plunket proceedingsdefend , of the Parish of St. Margaret Westminster , was indicted for stealing a Feather-Bed, and a Pair of Sheets, and other Furniture, out of the House of William Shepherd proceedingsvictim , on the 2d of November last. It appear'd that the Prisoner lodg'd at the Prosecutor's House, and that he deliver'd the Bed to another Person to carry away. The Prisoner in his Defence Said, that it was the Prosecutor's Wife sent it away, and she swore the same; but it appearing that he had left his Lodging, and she run away from her Husband, that was not regarded, and he was found guilty of Felony .
