Thomas Cane proceedingsdefend , of the Precinct of St. Katherine's , was indicted for stealing 30 Yards of Fustian out of the Shop of Margaret Hammon proceedingsvictim , on the 15th of November last. There was Evidence who saw the Prisoner go into the Shop, and come out with the Goods; and being seiz'd they were taken upon him; whereupon he was found guilty to the Value of 4 s. 10 d.
