Clement Danes
At a Meeting of the Committee for Saving Elected and appointed
pursuant to an Act of Parliament in the Vestry Room of St Clement
Danes the 20th. day of Novr. 1772 .

Proposed and agreed that Mr. Kitchiner take the Chair.

The Minutes of the last Meeting read and Confirmed.

Ordered that Mr. Campbell compleat the return into New Inn Passage
so as to carry off the Water properly from the said Passage and that he finish the Return
of the Footway of Portsmouth Street with Purbeck Squares.

Mr. Robert Campbell< no role > a Contractor with this Committee having applied &
requested Payment of £350 more on account ofsuchwork done this Committee
signed a Certificate to the Commissioners for Paving Westminster Etca. that there is £100.
more justly due and owing to the said Robert Campbell< no role > .

Messrs. Meredith and Lovett Contractors with this Committee having applied
and requested Payment of £80 more on account of Work done this Committee signed a
Certificate to the Commrs. for Paving Westmr. Etca. that there is justly due and owing to the
said Meredith and Lovett the sd. £80.

Mr. Richard Buddle< no role > a Contractor with this Committee having applied &
requested Payment of £80 more on Account of Work done this Committee Signed a Certificate
to the Commrs. for Paving Westminster Etca. that there is justly due and owing to the sd. Richard
Buddle the sd. £80.

The Committee Signed a Certificate or Allowance to the Commrs. for Paving
Westminster Etca. for £53..18s. being this Committees Proportion of the Expences of the
Commission for the year ending at Lady Day 1772.

Mr. Thomas Baker< no role > requesting to be appointed Jobbing mason to this committee &
the Question being put he was unanimously by appointed there to during the pleasure of this Commee

Resolved that £100 be paid into the Bank to the account of the Commrs: in order
to pay Bills for Repairing cleansing & Lighting & for that purpose that Mr. Kennett & Mr. Ireland be
desired to draw on the Banker.

Adjourned to the 4th. Decr. next at 6 O'Clock
