An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at London that is to say at the parish of
Saint Lawrence Jewry in the ward of Cripplegate within in London aforesaid on the Eight day of
August in the Twenty eighth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the grace of
God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth Before Thomas
Shelton Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the King for the City of London and Borough of Southwark aforesaidon view of the
Body of one Lloyd whose Christian name is unknown nowhere lying Dead by the Oath of

Of the City of London aforesaid who being now here duly chosen sworn and charged to inquire for our said Lord the King when how and in what
manner the said Lloyd whose Christian name is unknown came to his death say upon this oath that the said Lloyd whose Christian name is
unknown not being of sound mind memory and understanding but lunatic and distracted on the ninth day of August in the year aforesaid as the
parish and Ward aforesaid in London one end of a certain piece of woollen list unto and round a certain Iron Curtain belonging and fixed to a
Bedslead in a Chamber of a certain public John called and known by the name or sign of the Swan with two Necks situate in the parish and Ward
aforesaid and the other end of the said piece of Woollen list of the Corner of a certain Neck Hand [..] which he the said Lloyd whose
Christian name is unknown then lately before did usually wear did then and there lie and fasten And that said Llyod whose Christian
name is unknown did then and there lie and fasten the other end of the said Neck Handkerchief round and about his own Neck By means
whereof he the said Llyod whose Chirstian name is unknown did then and there hang suffocate and strangle himself Of which said hanging
suffocation and strangling he the said Llyod whose Christian name is unknown did then and there die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their
oath aforesaid do say that the said Lloyd whose Christian name is unknown not being of sound mind memory and understanding but lunatic and
distracted the manner and by the means aforesaid did kill and hang himself In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the said Stephen
Raynolds the Foreman of the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows in there presence have to this Inquisition at their hands
and seals the day year and place first above written
