An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at London, that is to say, at the
parish of Christ Church in the ward of Farringdon within in London aforesaid on the Eighteenth day of August
in the thirtieth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain
France and Ireland King defender of the faith and so forth Before Thomas Shelton< no role > Gentleman Coroner
of our said Lord the King, for the City of London and Borough of Southwark on view of the Body of Sarah Biddell< no role > This name instance is in set 3169.
an Infant now here lying dead by the Oath of John Crisps< no role > , Christopher Hoapes< no role > , Gabriel Glannell< no role >
Henry Scrimshaw< no role > , John Hemmens< no role > , Martin James< no role > , William Powell< no role > , William Jones< no role > , Benjamin
Black, Henry Bellamy< no role > , Charles Baker< no role > , Henry Mills< no role > , Harry Lee< no role > , John Gowin< no role > Thomas Weale< no role >
John Robinson< no role > William Mackwers< no role > William Simmons< no role > and Joseph Kensey good and lawful men
of the City of London aforesaid who being now here duly chosen sworn and Charged to Inquire for our said
Lord the King when how and in what manner the said Sarah Biddell< no role > This name instance is in set 3169. came to her death say upon their Oath
that the said Sarah Biddell< no role > This name instance is in set 3169. on the sixteenth day of August in the Year aforesaid being in a certain Room
on the first floor of a certain Dwelling House then Situate and being near unto the Window of the
said Room and being an in [..] Age accidentally casually and by misfortune did fall
from and out of the said Window unto the Open Street there called Butcher Hall Lane and to upon and
against the Stone pavement there By Reason whereof she the said Sarah Biddell< no role > This name instance is in set 3169. did then and there
Receive divers mortal Wounds and bruises in and upon the head face back sides Arms legs and
thighs of her the said Sarah Biddell< no role > This name instance is in set 3169. of which said Mortal wounds and bruises she the said Sarah
Biddell did then and there die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that
the said Sarah Biddell< no role > This name instance is in set 3169. in manner and by the means aforesaid casually and by misfortune was
accidentally killed In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the said John Crisps the
Foreman of the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the Rest of his Fellows in their presence have
to this Inquisition set their hands and Seals the day Year and place first above written
