Southwark Depositions of Witnesses taken at the
parish Work house of Saint Olave situate
in the Parish of Saint John within the
Borough of Southwark in the County of
Surrey the 11th. day of October 1790 on view
of the Body of Robert savage< no role > now here
lying dead

James Palmer< no role > of Nine Yard in the parish of Saint
John within the Borough of South wark in the County of Surrey
Fisherman maketh Oath that between the hour of seven and
eight in the Morning of Saturday last Dept. wasbeingemployed in
his Boat on the River Thames between Gun and shot Wharf and
Simmom's Wharf in the parish of Saint Olave that having
heard that a little Boy had been drowned about 4 OClock the
same Morning he dragged in the River for the purpose of finding
the deced-that Dept having dragged about a quarter of an
hour picked the deced up and loaded him at pick to herring
stairs and informed the Beadle of said Parish of his having
found the Body
