the 1st. Regt. of Guards and now quartered at the
Spread Egle Millbank side Westminster

Oath that he hath known the deced

about
fourteen years that he was a Foreman to Mr Curtis
of Crescent [..] place Bridge Street Blackfriars

Merchant
-that yesterday the deced, Dept. and one Smith
a Labour were employed [..] in a Warehouse [..] two
Story high belong to one Mr. Wilson and situate on Brook's
Wharf
in the parish of Saint Mary Somerset that
about Eleven O'Clock the deced Dept and Smith had weighed two Bags of Rags
from a Cart and under oath into the Warehouse-that they
placed one Bag with in the Wharehouse the other remaining
a little distance from the step of the Warehouse Door-that
the deced [..] and desired Dept. to go for [..] the Fruck-that the deced then stood
with [..] his Feet upon the Threshold of the Door his Back
towards the Bag
and his face fronting the Door-that
the Bag fell against the deced Legs and knocked his feet
out of the Door that the deced is falling turned round and
with a took he had in his hand hooked the Bag but the Bag in
giving way the deced fell [..] from the Warehouse
Door-Dept. looked down and saw the deced lying on his
Side upon the Pavement on the Wharf near the Cart Wheel
Dept. went after a Surgeon
who returned with Dept that
the deced lay in the same situate in [..] and some Blood
come from the deceds Ears and Monththatthe and was quite
insensible and upon further examination found him quite
Dead.
