William Roles< no role > of Pyed Lork yard Chiswell street
in the County of Middx by her maketh oath that last
Monday afternoon Dept saw the deced crossing the street, then
the driver ofthe Coa Coal Cart which was pessing who was on the
fort pavemt. opposite the shaft horse call to the deced, but the deced
took no notice but went against the middle house and the trear
threw him down, the driver called to the horses to stop & endeavoured
to stop them, but he could not do so before the near wheel had passed
over the deced. Dept says the scull of the deced was much fractured
Dept says the deced was subject to pits, & that when the pits were
coming on him he would often week same way before he fell down

John Horne< no role > of Chiswell street aforesaid Sadler
maketh oath that last Monday afternoon he saw the deced falling
as he apprehended in a pit; that he fell about four or five
[..] feet before the near wheel of a Coal Cart that was going along
the street, sevl persons called to the horses to stop, but they continued
to so on, and the near wheel passed over the deced. Dept says to saw
no driver into the Wheel was on the deced Lead, & then to saw the
driver near the Wheel.
