Oath that he hath known the deced about ten years-That
during the time he has known the deced he has appeared
to Dept to be a strange sort of a person of a gloomy Melancholy
disposition and often when any question put to him would
give no sort of answer or if he did not to the purpose and
Dept. really believes from the general [..] manner
and behaviour of the deced he was not in his right senses
at times.

rents an Appartment in the House ofBedford William Bedford< no role > of the
Anchor & Crown Turn again Lane London maketh oath
that he accompanied the decedaboutbetween nine and
ten on Monday Night last to a [..] unmakers in fleet
Street where the deced purchased a pair of Pistols (the same as Dept
believes) now produced together with a Cannister ofPowder
Gun powder called a Pound Cannister-some Pistol Balls
a Pistol Key and other little things belonging to the Pistols That
he and the deced then returned to Depts. Appartment where
the deced supped with Dept. and left Dept about eleven
oClock-That the deced appeared to [..] Dept to be of a very
melancholy gloomy disposition and often when Dept. has
spoke to him would give no sort of answer and at other
times would start up of a sudden
