Whereas complaint hath beene made unto us whose hands & Seals
are hereunto sett two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace for
the said Citty (Quorum unus) by the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poore of the Parish of St. Giles without Criplegate London
that
William Rock< no role >
and Sarah his Wife and two Children, are
lately come into the said Parish without giveing notice in
Writeing of the place of his Abeade or member of his Family
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore of the same
Parish as by Law is required and are likely to become chargeable
to the said Parish under timely prevented And for as much
as Oath is made before us by the said

that his
last legall Setlement was at Islington
in the Paris of St. Mary
Islington
in the County of Midlesex with oneRoberts
a Cowkeper
with whome he lived as a hired Servant
by the
yeare at one after the rate of five pound wages P Ann untill
he was imprest for a Souldier into his Majesties Sesvice Theis
are therefore in his Majesties name to require and comand
you the Officers of the said Parish of St. Giles without Criplegate
London Some or One of you to take pasee and carie away the
said

his Wife and two Children out of the said
Parish of St. Giles without Criplegate London
unto the Parish
of St. Mary Islington
aforesaid and there deliver them to
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore of the same
Parish or to some or One of them who are hereby likewise in
his Majesties name required to receive & provide for them
according to Law hereof you nor any of you are to Faith given
under our handes and Seales this eighteenth day of December
