Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us two of
His Majesties Justices of the Peace for this City and the
Liberties thereof one being of the Quorum by the Churchwarden
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Giles
without Cripplegate London That Henry
Moreland< no role > with Mary< no role > his Wife & their Child
James< no role > aged one Year are
lately come to reside in your said Parish not having obtaind any
Legal Settlement there and are likely to become chargeable
thereto unless timely prevented Which Complaint We judge to
be true and for as much as it appears unto Us by the Oath of
Henry Moreland< no role > that about Eight Month [..]
her Served five Years of his Apprenticeship with
John Mitchell< no role > & his Widow in the Parish of [..]
Luke in the [..] ty of Middx
And no other Subsequent Settlement appearing unto Us We th [..]
Said Justices are of opinion and do Adjudge the last Legal
Settlement of the said Henry Moreland< no role > with his Wife
& Child
to be in the said Parish of St: Luke in the County of
MiddxAnd that thitherto they ought by Law
to be sent

These are therefore in his Majesties Name to Will and
Require You the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of St: Giles without Cripplegate
London forthwith to Remove and Convey the said
Henry Moreland< no role > with his Wife & Child
from and out of your said Parish unto the said Parish of
St: Luke in the County of Middx
And them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there or one of them Who is and are hereby required
to Receive and Provide for them according to Law Given
under our hands and Seals this thirteenth day ofOctober
one Thousand Seven hundred and thirty Seven
