Informant sold for Two Guines or Two Guineas and a Half
That the said Evans had afterwards of this Informant Two
or three Patches or Pieces for Gowns. That Informant sold
three Shauls to the said Evans two or three Days after his
leaving his Master, That this Informant lodged with the
said Gallant. That this Informant lived with the said
Ayre about Two Months. That she said Newton had of him, this
Informant three pieces of Lawn at Holmes's House in
St. Martin le Grand , the Landlord, was then in the Tap
Room, That there were different Grocers Porters present.
That the said Newton received of him this Informant at
the Cooper's Arms two or three Days having the said Ayre
Two Patches in the Presence of the said Evans,and sayd
He had some to sell to the said Evans but could not agree. That the
said Newton had of him this Informant Half a Piece of
Muslin at the Bell and the Landlord always knew of their
coming in every Monday Morning. The Parlor was full
of Porters, the One was Mr. Denham of Foster Lane , Porter
Williams and Flinn. That the Paper now produced is the
Account of the different Things sold or delivered to the said
Gallant and Haslam. That Edward Jones< no role > at Mr. Stock's
Ludgate Hill lodged with him this Informant in Aldersgate
Street. That at different Times the said Jones stole from
his Masters four or five and Twenty Pieces of Lawn, Seven
or eight check Muslins and five or Six Plain Muslins,
Ten or Eleven Patches and one whole Piece, fourteen or
Sixteen Shauls Two pieces of Irish, one of which the said
Jones delivered to the said Haslam and the other to the
said Newton. That the said Jones received about Seventy
Two or Seventy three Pounds in all from the said Haslam
Gallant, Newton Morris, Evans and the said Haslames
Wife . That the said Morris had of him this Informant
Ten or Twelve Handkerchiefs. That about a fortnight
after he this Informant went to the said Mr. Eyre he (Informant)
began to deal with the said Haslam andGallant
