Westminster to wit

The Information of James Kirkland< no role >
of Puddle Dook taken this eighth day of
November 1786

Who being an Oath saith that on Sunday Morning last he this
Informant was asleek on the Cabbin Floor on board [..] His Masters barge
[..] when several Man came into the Cabbin
of said Barge [..] that there was a light in the Cabbin from a Five which was
in the Grate. That one of said Men treading upon this Informants
Right Foot, it awaked him and he looking up saw the Person now
Present, [..] calling himself Michael Cockran< no role > , that he looked
at said Cockrans Face very distinctly and observe the scar on his
right Check< no role > , at which time he had a red Handkerchief about his
head, a blue Jacket on, was without a Hat and Wore a Pair of
grey mixed Stockings That he had a sight of said Man for about
five Minutes and is very sure that said Cockran is the very indentical
Person who stood over the said Samuel Cornelius< no role > with a nusty Cutlass in
his hand and this Informant further says he observed said
Cockran left up his Hanger and heard him say to this Informants
Brother whole head was covered up "Your Money or your Life".
