of Road Lane London Merchant maketh
Oath and saith that the Summans or Notice hereunto annexed
was left at the Counting house of this Deponent in Road Lane
aforesaid on or about the second day of July now last as
this Deponent believes and this Deponent saith that he was
confined to his Bed with the Gant on the Twenty ninth day
of June now last and continued so confined and ill with
the Gaut at this Deponents house at Stratford Green
in
the County of Essex
from the said Twenty ninth day of June
Until the Ninth day of July taken next and now last past
when this Deponent was able to sit up in his Room but
not go abroad and this Deponent saith that it was
utterly impossible for this Deponent to pay obedience to
the said Summors without the hazard of losing this
Deponents like nor did this Deponent sir the said Summons
totill the said ninth day of July
