for assaulting Thomas
Wells.

William Lewis Newman< no role > of Falcon Square London Gentleman maketh Oath
and Saith that On the twentieth day of [..] July last he this Deponent was present
and did see Thomas Wells< no role > the abovenamed Prosecutor dully sign seal and as
his Act and Deed deliver the within Release and this Deponent saith that
the Mark [mark] set and subscribed opposite to the Seal affixed to the said Release
is of the Mark of the said Thomas Wells< no role > and that the names Wm L Newman< no role >
and S A Newman Subscribed to the said Release as the Witness attesting the
Execution thereof one of the Proper hand Writings and Names of this
Deponent and of John Addison< no role > Newman.
