And the said Foster Bower< no role > for himself says
that the Order for Payment of Money now
produced and described as aforesaid is the identical
Order for Payment of Money given by this
Informant to the said Mr. Lane in the Court
House at Hereford on or about the 22nd. day of
March last (except that the said Order since
that period hath been altered and Forged Vizt
from the word Fifteen to Fifty and from the Figures 15
to 50 and which said Order he verily believes
to be the only Order for Payment of Money
he even gave to said Mr. Lane That this
Informant hath never seen said Order for
Payment of Money from the time he gave it
to said Mr. Lane till Yesterday when it was
Presented to this Informant by the said William
Irwings< no role > accompanied by the said Joseph Slack< no role >
And this Informant further says he Suspects
and verily believes that the said Order for
Payment of Money hath been altered and
Forged by the said Joseph Slack< no role > and published
by him to the said Messrs. Robert< no role > Francis< no role >
and William Gosling< no role > Esquires with intention
to defraud them of this Sum of Thirty five Pounds
