agt. Barles Court in Drury Lane , taken before me
Ralph Marshall< no role > Esqr. One of his Majties Justices of the
peace for the said County this 15th. day of June
Anno Din 1695.

Who upon his Oath That on Monday last in the Evening
(being the tenth of this Month) he happened to be present
at a Born give neare the Dogg Tavernein Drury Lane ,
where there was drinking of healthe and agreate hubbub
& Stirr, And that he was then and there by Mr. Pate
who belongs to the Playhouse forced to drinke a health
upon his knees (Mr. Pate haveing first pluck't of this
Informants Wigg) but what the said health was this
Informant did not well understand by reason of the great
troyse and busle.
