Upon hearing of the appeale of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the poor of the parish of St. Giles in the feilds in this County
against an Order under the hands & seales of Nathaniel
Manlove

peace for the County of Middx (Quor unus) bearing date
the twenty third day of October last whereby Elizabeth Orrill< no role >
a young child about five months old (daughter of Robert
Orrill
< no role > & Elizabeth Orrill< no role > ) who was become chargeable
to the parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate in this County

of the legall settlemt. of the [..] eth Orrill the dano [..]
upon pretence that she was borne in the dwelling house
of one Mr.Ball in Cross lane in the parish of St. Giles
in the feilds aforesaid, and that the sd. Robert Orrill her
Father absconded, and that noe other place of the legall
settlemt. of the sd. Robert Orrill upon a strict examinacon
appeared unto the sd. two Justices of the peace, And upon
hearing of what was alledged byof Councell
for the Inhabitants of the said parish of St. Giles without
Cripplegate & alsoe by of Councell for the Inhabitants of the
said parish of St. Giles in the feilds It was admitted by
the said Councell on both sides that the sd. Elizabeth
Orrill the daughter was borne in the sd. parish of St. Giles
in the feilds And It not appearing to this Court where
the sd. Robert Orrill her Father was last legally settled
This Court doth disallow of the sd. appeale and doth
