Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Laylam
concerninga Male bastard Child born in the said Parish
of the body of

and twenty two
which is since baptized by the name of

and is now become chargeable to the said Parish and so likely
to continue Do find upon the Examinacon of the said

Did beget on the body of her the

the said Male bastard child We therefore
the said Justices Do adjudge him the said
Thomas Head< no role >
the
Putative father of the said Male bastard Child And do order
and appoint him the said
Thomas Head< no role >
forthwith upon notice
of this our Order to Pay or cause to be paid unto the said Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish or to some
or one of them the sume of Five Pounds
of lawfull money of Great Britain So much being already
expended by the said Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish concerning the said Male bastard child
As also that he the said

Do weekly and every
week from henceforth Pay or cause to be Paid unto the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish for the time
being or to some or one of them the sume of two Shillings
of like lawfull money for and towards the releif and maintenance of the
said Male bastard Child for so long time as the said Male bastard
Child shall remain chargeable to the said Parish And Lastly
we do Order him the said

to give sufficient Security
to the said Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish for the due Performance of this Cur Order Given under our
hands and Seals this Sixthday of Aprill In the
Eleventh year of the reign of Our Sovereign Lord George by the grace of
God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of ye Faith Etc Annoq
