You know these prosecutions are carry'd
on for the Honr. of the Comon, and to bring a
Great officer to justice; The prosecution
are reim'd by him; and Brown had not
moneys to pay for the Indictmt. It for
want of moneys to carry on these prosecution
the criminal that escape with Impunity,
(as he certainty wil if ye Certificates if his
Indictmts. cannot be had) It wil be no Honr.
either to the Comon. or its officers: However ple [..]
to Send the Certificates, and if Mr. Clerk of the
peace insist on 2s: 6d. a peice for them I wil
pay it.
