of the said Justicesof the peace of Middx and Westminster
areobliged Upon Urgent affaires of their own to be in
the Country at a great distance from the said County & Cityof
Middx and City of Westminster at that Season of the
Yeare the times at which the said General Meetings-
[..] for granting licences as aforesaid areto be-
holden according to the direction of theatt the time appointed by the said Act,
And It being Very necessary to that the Justices of the
peace of the County of Middx and City & Liberty of
Westminster should hold their General meetings in
their respective Divisions and Districts for licensing
of Alehouse Keepers & Retalers of Brandy & other
distilled liquors as formerly Be It therefore Enacted
by the Authority aforesaid That theJustices of the
peace of the said County of Middx and City and
Liberty of WestminsterSaid recited Act of Parliament
Shall from henceforth,bee deemed and taken not tonotextend to the Sd. County of
Middx and City & Liberty of Westminster or either
of them But that it shall & may bee Lawfull to and forthey shall or may hold their
General Me- the Justices of the peace shall or-
May holdenthe Justices of the peace of the said
County,City andCity & Libertyof Westminster shall
or may and May and may toto hold their General Meetings in their respective
DistrictsDivisions & Districtsin thefor granting
of Licences toAlesuch Alehouse keepers & Retalers
of Brandy & other distilled liquors as shall be by them ber thought
proper to be licenced in the Spring time of the yeare
