The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseer of the Poor of the Parish of St. James Westmr.
in the County of Middx

Sheweth

That by a pass Warrant or order under the hands and Seals
of St. Thomas Clarges< no role > Bart. & S: Steuart Esqr. two of his Majesties
Justices of the peace for the County of Middx bearing date the Four [..]
day of February last Jane< no role > the wife of George Scarlet< no role > aged about
thirty years together with Elizabeth< no role > aged about One years, and
Catherine< no role > aged about ten weeks, her Children by her said husband
were Removed from the Parish of St. George Hanover Square in the
County of Middx aforesd. to the sd. Parish of St. James As the place of
their last legall Settlemt. whereby your Petrs. think themselves
Aggreived

And therefore humbly prays this Court
will please to Appoint a time for hearing
the Sd. Appeal and that all persons
Concerned may attend at the Same time
