Informacon being given Unto this Court that
Several Repaires are Wanting & necessary to be
done to the Sessions house called Hicks hall in St.
John Street in the County It is Ordered by this
Court that it be And It is hereby recomended &
referred Unto Simon Michell< no role > William Brooke< no role >
Robert Tothill< no role > William Hayton< no role > Thomas Robe< no role > &
Andrew Osborne< no role > Esqrs . Justices of the peace for this
County or any three or more of them as a
Committee to meet together, and to take a View
of Hicks hall aforesaid, and to take to their
assistance such able Workman or Workmen as
they shall think fit, and to see if any & what
repaires are wanting & necessary to be done to
Hicks hall aforesaid, And if it shall appeare that
the same is out of repaire Then to take on
account in writing of what repaires are
wanting & necessary to be done thereto, and
to make an estimate of what it will cost well
& effectually to repaire the same in a Substantial
& workman like manner, And to make their
Report in writing touching the premisses Unto the
Court of the next General Quarter Sessions of the peace to be
holden for this County.
