of St. Luke
in the Said County of Middlesex
And to the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Sr Katherine by the Tower :
in the County aforesaid And to every of them, And to all
others, whom these may concern.

Whereof one is authorized and appointed by the Statute to be a (Quorum) By the
complaint of the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. Luke in the said County
That Rachel Harbey< no role > , and her Aritoren namely Edward< no role > aged
8. years. Elizabeth< no role > aged 7. years. Mary< no role > aged 5. years, Jane< no role > aged
2. years. and Joanna< no role > aged 10. Months. are
Lately come, and intruded into the said Parish of St. Luke
Endeavouring to Gain a Settlement there Contrary to Law
and are like [..] become a Great Charge to the said Parish
which we adjudge to be true, And whereas, upon due Examination
of the premises and of James Drury< no role > upon Oath.

It appears unto us, that the said Rachel Harbey, Edward, Elisabeth Mary Jane
and Joanna were last legally Settled in the Said Parish
of St. Katharine by the Tower in Middlesex and that they
have not Since gain'd any legal Settlement
elsewhere: Therefore, We the said Justies, upon the Proof aforesaid, and other
Circumstances, do Adjudge and Deem the place of the legal Settlement of the
said Rachel Harbey. Edwd. Elizabeth, Mary Jane and Joanna to be in the
said Parish of St. Katharine by [..] the Tower , in Middlesex
And whither by Law they Ought to be Sent.

THESE are therefore in His Majesty's Name, Strictly to Charge and
Command you the said Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of St Luke
or either of you, forthwith to remove and Convey the said Rachel Harbey. Edward
Elizabeth Mary. Jane, and Joanna her Children.
deliver them (together [..] recept) to the Churchwarden and Overseers
of the Poor there, or some, or one of them, who are hereby required to receive
and provide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, the twenty fourth Day of August in the
tenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the second by the Grace of God of Great-Britain, France, and Ireland,
King Defender of the Faith, and so forth, And in the Year of our Lord
One Thousand Seven Hundred and thirty six.
