To the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. Paul Shadwell
in the County of Middlesex
and to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
Parish of St. George
in the Same County

Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Paul
Shadwell unto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(whereof one is of the Quorum) for the County aforesaid,
That Charles Williams< no role > aged about six
Years and Mary Williams< no role > aged about
four years, have
lately intruded them selves into your said Parish of St. Paul
Shadwell
there to inhabit asParishioner s contrary to the Laws relating to
the settlement of the Poor, and are there like to become charge-
able, if not timely prevented: and Whereas, upon due examiner
on and Enquiry made into the Premises on oath and
other Circumstances
it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Charles williams< no role > and mary
Williams
< no role > are
like to chargeable unto the said Parish of St. Paul
Shadwell and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the said Charles Williams< no role > and
Mary Williams< no role > is in the said Parish of
St. George middlesex
These are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St, Paul shad well aforesaid, that you
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the said Charles
Williams
< no role > and Mary Williams< no role >
from your said Parish of St, Paul Shadwell
to the said Parish of St, George
Middlesex and them deliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the said Charles Williams< no role > and Mary
Williams
< no role >
into their said Parish and provide for them
as their own Parishioner omen under our Hands and seals, the
Second Day of July in the Year of our
Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and Thirty Seven
