The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by an Order under the hands and Seals of Danl
Gach< no role > & Jas. Fraser< no role > Esqr. two of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the City and Liberty of Westmr. (one
of the Quorum) bearing Date the 1st. Day of Decr.
Instant Margaret Lewis< no role > the Wido . of Mathew Lewis< no role >
was removed from the Parish of St. Martin in the
Feilds within the Liberty of Westmr. in the County
of Middlesex to the said Parish of St. Clement
Danes as the Place of her last legal Settlement
whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves to
be agrieved and agt. the Sd. Order do Appeal
