To the Right Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex In their General
Quarter Sessions Assembled as

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Over seers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Botolph Without
Bishopgate London .

Sheweth

That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the hand said Seals
of two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx
(One Whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the 24th. Day of
Septr. 1748 Alice Lovet< no role > Wife of William Lovet< no role > , In the Said
Order Called Alice Castboult< no role > Single woman , Was Passed from the
Parish of St. Luke in the County of Middlesex To the Parish of St. Botolph
Without Bishopgate London aforesaid Alledging the last legal
Place of Settlement of the Said Alice to be in the Said Parish of
St. Botolph Without Bishopgate And Your Petitioners Comewing
themselves Agrieved by the Said Order and Judgement of the Said
two Justices Do humbly Appeal therefrom and humbly pray
Your Worships

Burr Attorney for
Bishopgate Parish }


Would Appoint some Day this Present General Quarter
Sessions of the Peace to be holden for the Said County
to hear this Appeal and that your Worships Will make
an Order that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor and all of the Said Parish of St. Luke and All
Parties Concerned in and About the Premises
may then Attend hear and Abide the Final Determination
of Your Worships

And Your Petr, Shall ever Pray Etc
