of the said Parish of St. Paull Shadwell
in the said County taken this 19th; day of
September 1751 before me One of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for the
said County

This Informant William Herbert< no role > upon his Oath
Sayeth That about One of the Clock this Morning
he heard an uncommon noise and was apprehensive
that same body was endeavoring to break into his house
which is Situate in the said Parish of St. Paull Shadwell
on which this Informant went to the watch House
for Assistance, on which Nathaniel Holmes< no role > : Benjamin
Turner< no role > and Edward Roberts< no role > Watchmen , went with this
informant, and saw a person standing against that
part of his House out of which is same brickwork is taken
[..] about two foot in Length and about three bricks
depth And that this Informant with the said Watchmen
took the said person, whose name is Francis Crockett< no role >
And that the said Informant hath as Strong Suspition
[..] the said Francis Crookett< no role > (with others unknow) was concerned
is taking out the brickwork in Order to break into this
Informants House
